Host a book drive on your campus
Student Organizations—College campus organizations participate by adopting the project as a service learning activity to collect donated used college textbooks in support of the project activities, and by becoming literacy tutors certified to assist learners in their local communities and beyond.

Nominate a community organization as a local beneficiary of the Liberian Books Project
Nominate a Campus Captain to receive basic literacy training
Captains are individual volunteers, campus organization leaders or their designates.Campus Captains coordinate the activities of Liberian Books Project within each campus organization.Pro-Literacy Detroit will provide basic literacy training for each Campus Captain.….(nominate a Campus Captain)
Nominate a local organization as a beneficiary of the Liberian Books Project
Many local communities are faced with the same challenges confronting Liberian communities.The project recognizes this by dedicating a percentage of its proceeds to combating illiteracy in the United States (US).Each year of the project a local organization working to achieve the Liberian Books Project goals in the US is honored.….(nominate an organization)
Fill a box
Volunteer as an Honorary Trustee to collect 25 donated used college textbooks.Each volunteer is given a small packing box with a capacity of 25 books.After filling, the box is returned to the collection point to be picked-up.
Sponsor a book
Donate a matching contribution of $1 per book to cover to cost of shipping a donated book to the foundation from a donor.
Sponsor a Book Drive
Donate a matching contribution of $500.00 per box in support of a book drive.
